Mandy Miller is honored to serve as Berks County Sheriff. With over 25 years of dedicated service in the Berks County Sheriff’s Office, Mandy has spent her entire career protecting and serving the community she calls home.

A resident of Berks County and a proud trailblazer, Mandy is the first woman to hold the position of Sheriff in the county’s history. While she values the significance of this achievement, her focus remains on her role as a law enforcement professional, committed to leading by example, working hard, and persevering through challenges.

Mandy’s journey through the Sheriff’s Office is a testament to her dedication and determination. Starting in the cell block, she rose through the ranks as a deputy sheriff, sergeant, captain, and eventually chief deputy before earning the title of Sheriff.

A 1995 graduate of Wilson High School in West Lawn, Mandy also graduated from the Reading Police Academy Act 120 and the Pennsylvania Sheriff Academy Act 2 certifications. A lifelong learner, she is on track to complete her bachelor’s degree in business this year, further enhancing her leadership skills and dedication to public service.

Mandy resides in Spring Township with her daughter, Marianna “Mia” Miller, a recent graduate of Alvernia University, and their loyal German Shepherd, Blue. As a working mother and law enforcement executive, Mandy leads with integrity, transparency, and humility—qualities that guide her mission to keep Berks County safe.
